About Me

I am currently a Research Associate at the Leibniz Institute for Analytical Sciences (ISAS), Germany. My research focuses on biomedical image analysis, computer vision, and trustworthy machine learning, with particular interests in image segmentation, uncertainty-aware modelling, active learning, and multimodal AI for healthcare applications.

I received my M.Eng. degree in Computer Technology from Harbin Engineering University, and my B.Eng. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the same university. My academic and research experience spans medical image analysis, deep learning, image segmentation, and robust AI methods for data-limited and real-world scenarios.

More broadly, I am interested in building reliable and interpretable AI systems for healthcare and scientific imaging, especially under domain shift, annotation scarcity, and multimodal complexity. I am currently seeking job opportunities, PhD opportunities, and research collaborations.

🚀 Research Vision

My goal is to develop accurate, reliable, and data-efficient AI systems for biomedical imaging and healthcare, with a particular emphasis on segmentation, uncertainty, and multimodal learning.

My research aims to bridge methodological advances in computer vision with practical challenges in medical and biological imaging. I am particularly interested in how uncertainty estimation, active learning, and trustworthy multimodal AI can improve model reliability, generalization, and interpretability in real-world applications.

Biomedical Image Segmentation

Developing robust and data-efficient segmentation methods for biomedical and medical imaging, including weak supervision, pseudo-labelling, and foundation-model-assisted annotation pipelines.

Trustworthy & Multimodal AI

Building interpretable and uncertainty-aware AI systems for multimodal healthcare data, with a focus on robustness, reliability, and deployment under real-world distribution shifts.
